this week has been a busy one with lots of things on the menu !
housekeeping - denise, sydney girl who lives in botswana - who left a comment on the last post re the circles, could you please email me, details of my email at the top left column.
so many of you who have ordered the pattern will have it now and you can go 'circling'.
the sewing girls were here on saturday and embroidery and patchwork are being combined by several of them, different designs and of course choices of fabric. here is a peek at marion's, and there has been further progress, looks gorgeous!
then there was jan with her sewing bag full of her embroidery and fabrics for her quilt, but these beautiful embroidered fish are worth a look at before we see what's inside, we will see her quilt later.
i have also started cutting this new quilt out, this time i am going to machine piece it, unusual for me i know. the pattern and many of the fabrics are from amitie .
i am using these black and whites and then favourites with red and or pink in them.
then i have not told you about my very good neighbours ! i find it hard to do everything as i used to physically, it is called getting older i think, the doctors have not been able to give it another more definite label, they still look into their computers every time i go and are still looking ! julia and frederick put out my bins for me, very kind they are and then two weeks ago i purchased a new bed and phil drove me to ikea and picked up all the bits on his trailer and then came with his family the next evening and put it all together. so you see i am spoilt by these kind people.
it is very high, very firm and very comfortable and look at the storage draws underneath ! and it is time for me to get into it tonight.
