sunshine in august is bringing out some colour in the gardens, some favourites, like the pot of daffodils gifted to me are all lovely bits to see and my favourite euphorbias are blooming again, love the fresh bright green of the flower heads
and just this little pink daisy, so simple but beautiful
and some birthday tulips
it was on saturday and the sun was out !
amazing nature !
pretty gift ! and lots of very pretty liberty fabric bits and hankies ! spoilt !
and someone knows who's queen bee !
thanks to all for the birthday wishes, i'm happy to be a year older !
back in the post on july 7, i was auditioning fabrics for my next border of this quilt inspired by Margaret Sampson George, this was my original choice and the one i'm going with and given various choices, without comment from me, Marg also chose this, so that's it !
i like the way all the various pink to red tones continue out and blend !
and this is the progress on my 'sheet' (pet name) also inspired by Marg SG, enjoying the applique process and the playing with shapes and borders !
here is the 'broderie' coat of arms !
until next time ...................
