all working towards the exhibition at the end of march advertised in the last post, we have been very busy getting the raffle quilt resembling a quilt ! with the stitchers in two australian states it was finally a happy state of affairs when it all came together last weekend
the hand quilting has now progressed to the borders, trish harper is kindly donating her time and expertise, the proceeds of the raffle quilt all going to beyondblue ! it was so good to see it all in one piece, thanks to all who have got it this far, marg sampson george and jean stevenson !
a shop hop visit last friday to amitie in gardenvale, treehouse textiles in mornington and somerset patchwork in vermont to drop off raffle books proved to be a shopping expedition

you can also buy raffle tickets at these shops in new south wales cottage quiltworks, quiltsmith, material obssession and hatched and patched and from precioustime quilts in queensland. other donors are victorian textiles for the wool batting for the quilt, a piece of cloth and luccello for generous raffle prizes and linda for the barn #quiltsinthebarn
